The firm was founded in 2024 by Jim Donaldson after a 30 year career leading teams, offices and regions for large global PR consultancies in a number of markets around the world.

Who We Are
Jim Donaldson
Over a career working in communications consultancy over many decades, Jim has led campaigns and teams at some of the world’s leading PR agencies. Before founding The Jim Donaldson Partnership, he was CEO of the UK and Middle East at leading global consultancy FleishmanHillard. Now undertaking a portfolio career, Jim is currently a non-exec Chair, board director, strategic adviser and mentor to a number of organisations in the public relations and marketing industries.
Jim has led agency teams in multiple markets and regions in Europe, the Middle East and the UK. A recognised industry leader, organisations under Jim’s leadership have won a number of major industry awards - including employer of choice and agency of the year - multiple times. Prior to his role at FleishmanHillard, Jim held senior positions at leading global consultancies Weber Shandwick and Hill & Knowlton (now part of Burson) As a practitioner with a background most specifically in corporate reputation, Jim has also advised country leaders, government ministers, CEOs and other C-Suite executives around the world on a wide range of communications issues and managed global campaigns for organisations from a large number of sectors, particularly in the B2B area. Jim is a frequent speaker and commentator on communications and was Chair of the world’s largest PR industry association - the PRCA - from 2018 to 2020. He remains a member of the PRCA’s Global Advisory Board
Gretchen Reachmack
With a career spanning more than three decades, Gretchen spent 20 years in consulting roles at Ernst & Young and Capgemini after completing her MBA from Georgetown University. She has founded and run her own creative communications firm in Arizona and established a successful retail business in Chicago. Most recently she led a global professional services delivery team for software powerhouse ServiceNow in both the US and the UK.
Gretchen is recognised for leading organisational change, implementing IT solutions, creating and developing high-performing teams and providing thought leadership to C-level management. She has provided consulting expertise and creative services to organisations in the utilities, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, healthcare, finance, insurance and IT industries.
An American national, Gretchen moved full time to the UK in 2022.
